She sits on the Boards of Esplanade Co Ltd, Gardens by the Bay, Community Foundation of Singapore and Centre for Non-Profit Leadership. She is also a member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Appeal Advisory Panel, YMCA Singapore Advisory Council and Charity Council.</p> <p>Mrs Tan has over 30 years of experience in large-scale complex transformation projects for clients, including strategy and organizational development and restructuring, business process improvement initiatives, and change management. She has also led many large government privatization programs and strategy innovation sessions, such as workforce of the future initiatives. In 2015 she was one of the keynote speakers at the Future Leaders Summit, addressing the audience on &ldquo;Megatrends &ndash; The Workforce of the Future&rdquo;.</p> <p>Active in community work, Mrs Tan is the Chairperson of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC). Issues that Mrs Tan is especially concerned about includes developing active seniors, healthcare, values-based education that develops strong ties between community and school and sector development in the arts.</p> <p>Mrs Tan was conferred Justice of the Peace in 2008 and was awarded the PBM (Public Service Medal) in 2007 as well as the BBM (Public Service Star) award in 2014.
